Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store your account email address and display name from Google OAuth. We also store your learning activity: course progress, quiz answers, assessment scores, and the prompts you use to generate courses. We do not collect payment card numbers (see Section 5).
2. Analytics and error tracking
When configured, Verilearn uses PostHog for product analytics (page views, feature usage, funnel analysis) and Sentryfor error tracking (stack traces and session context around crashes). Both services may receive your IP address and browser metadata. You can opt out of PostHog analytics via your browser's Do Not Track setting or by contacting us. Error reports are kept for 90 days and are used solely to improve the product.
3. Certificates and public profiles
Certificates are public by design. Every certificate issued by Verilearn is permanently verifiable by anyone who has the certificate link or serial number. This is intentional — the value of a Verilearn certificate comes from the fact that it can be independently confirmed. Certificate data (your name, the course title, the date, and the score) is stored indefinitely and is accessible to the public.
Profiles are public only if you opt in. Your learner profile (name, certificates, courses completed) is private by default. You can choose to make it public in your account settings. Once public, your profile is visible to anyone on the internet. You can revert to private at any time from your settings.
4. How we use your data
We use your data to operate the platform: authenticate you, save your progress, generate certificates, and improve course quality. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever.
5. Payments
Payments for paid plans are handled by Stripe. When you enter payment details, that information goes directly to Stripe and is governed by Stripe's privacy policy. Verilearn never sees or stores your card number, CVV, or full billing address. We only receive a payment confirmation and a Stripe customer ID.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you want your account and personal data deleted, email us at nit.dhasmana@gmail.com and we will delete your account, learning activity, and profile within 30 days. Note that certificates that have already been publicly verified by third parties (e.g., saved by employers) cannot be recalled from those parties, but we will remove them from our systems.
7. No sale of personal data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties. Full stop.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will post the revised version here with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
